Work in Progress Wednesday: Pinwheel Quilt Blocks!
I’m in the process of writing a tutorial on how to sew these adorable and indispensable blocks, and used some of my gift-bag-making fabric to sew up a few of them. I’m not sure what I will do with them. First step: make a lot more of them, just for the heck of it. As for these four, they may end up as Christmas potholders.
“First step, make a lot more of them”: I couldn’t agree more. Because I usually have triangles left over from making flying geese and use them for leaders and enders, I end up putting many of them into pinwheels. Great to have them handy when an idea does strike!
Thanks, Lynette! I also love the peppermints, which come from Joann’s Fabric. I mostly use fabric from Joann for my annual gift bag spree.
They’re super cool pinwheels – love the white on white dragonfly fabric!
