I&#039;m not sure I understand exactly how you would cover the extra batting with binding, but you probably could fold that extra inch of batting over the edge of the outer border and bind over it to make a thicker bound edge. I usually use 2-1/2&quot; wide fabric for binding, but if I added extra batting around the edge, I might make the binding fabric wider, maybe 2-3/4&quot; or even 3&quot;.]]></description>
