I’m cleaning up the sewing room by giving away this set of twelve paper-pieced quilt blocks in charming 1930s reproduction fabrics. These came to from a quilting friend who had them in her sewing room for several years before deciding she was too busy to use them. She passed them on to me.

Now I’ve come to the same realization — charming as they are, I haven’t made them into a quilt. So now it’s your chance. One of our blog subscribers will get these beautifully pieced blocks. Will you be the winner?

How to Enter the Giveaway

To enter your name, just scroll down and post a comment on this post. The winner will be chosen at random from all the entries received on Friday, March 16.

Good luck!

  1. What a welcome joy to receive your email. I’ve been in “Stay Safe Stay Home” for 2 weeks now because of the Coronavirus. I’ve been feeling sorry for myself, but seeing your website has inspired me to start seeing and quilting again. My first project will be to sew masks for the children I see at grocery stores with their parents. Maybe they are immune, but we don’t know for sure.
    Thanks for making my day!

The process of paper piecing reminds me of the quilt-as-you-go table runner from your beginners book. Easy to do with awesome results! Wouldn’t white strips between each block make them pop? The patterns and colors are the perfect combination in time for Easter!

  13. “Never be afraid to start something new when you get to be my age!” says I! My daughter must be tired of hearing me spout about the enjoyment I receive from starting to quilt at 75. (Actually, she’s proud and happy for me!) It consists of new friends, new challenges, and a very patient teacher. All my new projects involve a trip to the fabric store. (No stash) Winning this Give-Away would save me a trip and give me a new project to think about and share.
