Hi Carolyn,

Thanks for your question. I just watched the video again, and he trims a little corner off just the binding, not the body of the quilt itself. I don’t have any information on his seam guide, but it looks to me like he was using a Juki or Brother single-stitch sewing machine, which comes with that seam guide as one of its accessories. If your machine doesn’t come with a seam guide, I suggest a number of says to create one yourself in our blog post How to Sew a Perfect 1/4″ Seam.

The gentleman that is showing the binding corners is he cutting the binding or the quilt corners? Also, could I have information on his quarter inch seam guide? Thank you very much I enjoyed the demonstration. My girlfriend sent it to me!!!
