Work in Progress Wednesday: Rag Quilt Fat Quarter Quilt
I’ve been making a real effort to reduce the size of my fabric collection so that it all fits into the bookshelves where I store it in my sewing room. Right now I’m concentrating on the fat quarters. Over the years I’ve bought a lot of them because they’re just too cute to resist. Now it’s time to use them up.
I also have a pile of miscellaneous polar fleece scraps left over from making larger quilts.
The result is this fat quarter rag quilt. It will look a lot better after I trim the rag “sashing” between the blocks.
I like the HST’s used in your rag blocks! I’ve never made a rag quilt but it looks like a great way to use stash…
Looks great! Nice job on working from stash.
Oh I hear you on the fat quarters. They are nice, so you get one. Hence a colour of fabric that doesn’t do anything, or match much of anything! So I have stopped doing that. lol
Good job on using your stash for this quilt. Looks great & will look terrific when raggey!
