Work in Progress Wednesday: String Roman Stripes Quilt Blocks

I’m taking part in the “Work in Progress Wednesday” blog linkup hosted by Lee at her Freshly Pieced blog. For me the challenge is deciding which project of the many, many unfinished quilts I have lying around to focus on. I decided to pick the one I’ve been working on with most concentration, which is these string blocks.

I’ve made 12 string blocks, and don’t seem to have reduced my scrap pile at all!

The blocks I want to end up will look something like this (except with different colors.)

Next step: choosing the single fabric to make these string blocks into a set of matching half-square triangles.
