  70. Wow, I just stumbled upon your blog, and you’re doing a giveaway that I’d really like to be considered for. As you can tell by my name, I’m a guy. I’ve just begun quilting, which I’ve been slowly teaching myself, to distract from a recent diagnosis of kidney cancer in both kidneys. I’ve just finished my 5th quilt. The first 3, I designed and made 100% from my own thoughts of what I considered logical. My 4th was a king-size quilt from a pattern in a magazine. I sent it to my little sister for Christmas, 2019 partly because I knew she would not be harshly critical of the myriad mistakes! I’m sticking to lap-sized quilts for awhile! My5th I’ve just finished, my own design and construction, kinda proud of it. Don’t have plans for it yet. Being a guy who is loving a creative outlet that is dominated by women, I find myself a bit hesitant to ask for help when I get stuck, opting for internet tutorials or winging it. Hopefully, as my quilts get more complex, such as the blocks you are giving away, I’ll lose my inhibitions about being a guy in a woman’s world! Thanks for sharing your creations with us!
